Mr. Henry Gilbert Ortiz, 81, of Surprise, AZ passed away on April 8, 2017 in Surprise, AZ. He was born August 9, 1935 to Epifanio and Isadora Ortiz in Valencia, New Mexico. Henry served in the US Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1955. He is survived by daughter Geraldine Ortiz; sons Henry Ortiz Jr, Epifanio (Buddy) Ortiz, Jerry Ortiz; brother Pregie Ortiz; sister Erma Luna, Clory Trujillo, Della Garcia, Amy (Felix) Carranza; and grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held at 10:00 am, Rosary at 10:30 am, on Monday, April 24th at Thompson Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Rd, Goodyear, AZ 85338. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 am.
