I read in your January 31, 2024 volume of the Independent concerning the formation of local packs of coyotes in Sun City.
I concur with the proposal described by Nancy Broekemeier. I’ve been made aware of a pack that has five members near Palm Ridge Golf Course in Sun City West. While I recognize the importance that the coyotes have in keeping the rabbit population in check, five in a pack is troubling and may be too much for an individual walking a dog if the coyotes are hungry.
As we are in or just past mating season, this pack may grow. I am concerned for my dog.
If the coyotes could be relocated, this would be so helpful.
