Hale Centre Theatre set to begin 'Steel Magnolias' run

Posted

Hale Centre Theatre is set to begin a 10-week run for the funny and touching play "Steel Magnolias" with Tuesday, Sept. 19 as opening night.

Through witty banter and wisecracks, a hodgepodge group of women at Truvy’s Salon in Chinquapin, Louisiana, form friendships as strong as steel, which they are forced to lean on when tragedy strikes.

The play runs Mondays and Tuesdays at 7:30 p.m. with some additional 4 p.m. performances  thought the run, which ends Nov. 21. See the theater's website for details.

Tickets run $32-$48.
