I am a 92-year-old lady living at Wooddale Village.
I am also a member of the Sun City Elks Auxiliary since 1988.
I read your article (“Beware door knockers,” Sun City Independent, June 7, 2023) about scams. I have received more than 55 potential scam calls. I believe they started around the first of March.
I have never answered any of them. I have a Captel phone for those who are hard of hearing. It will say “potential scam” on the screen. So I do not answer.
I would like to know if there is any way to stop this.
