Glendale planning Halloween event at Foothills Recreation

All residents, ghosts, ghouls and goblins are invited to a Glendale Halloween celebration.

The Glendale Foothills Recreation & Aquatics Center, at 5600 W. Union Hills Drive, will host the city’s annual Halloween community event from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27. The fun will include a costume walk, carnival games, arts and crafts, candy and more.

“This family-friendly event is a safe alternative to trick-or-treating from your traditional door-to-door experience,” Glendale’s recreation coordinator Susie Cummings shared in a press release.

The event is open to the public on the Friday before Halloween. Residents can partake in various contests, including face painting, creating balloon animals, inflatable slides and music from a DJ.

Early registration is suggested here.

Admission is $4 for children 11 years of age or younger, and parents are free. Adults are required to supervise their children for the entirety of the event.
