‘Victors and Heroes’ will celebrate human achievement

North Valley Symphony Orchestra will present “Victors and will Heroes,” an orchestral experience.

The performance will take place at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at North Canyon High School Auditorium, 1700 E. Union Hills Drive, in Phoenix.

To end the season, the Symphony Orchestra will present “Victors and Heroes,” a celebration of sports, human achievement, and heroes from the big screen and beyond, including music from “Chariots of Fire,” “Apollo 13,” “Field of Dreams,” “The Avengers” and more.

“In today’s world of perpetually bad news cycles, sometimes we all just need a very uplifting experience. What better way than to celebrate some of our favorite heroes?,” Music Director and Conductor Kevin Kozacek shared in a press release. “‘Victors and Heroes’ is packed with themes from movies and stories celebrating our favorite heroes.”
