Glendale Fire reports that the family states they were firing off fireworks in front of their house, and when they finished, they put the used fireworks in a box on their front patio then went inside. The box caught on fire and burned their front wall by the door.

Firefighters cut into the stucco to make sure the fire hadn’t gotten into the walls. Nothing was found and the house was turned back over to the homeowners.

The Glendale Fire Department urges residents to use caution on the holiday and to follow city laws at all times.
