The Anasazi Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution provided 32 books to two schools, the Chinle Elementary School and the Chinle Junior High School in Apache County.

The Anasazi committee chair for both Literacy Promotion and American Indians, Dale Pyeatt, worked with the librarians at the two schools to find books that were needed and were age appropriate for their students. The librarians, Joni Allen-Burbank and Susan Reeser-Yazzie, provided a list from which members could choose.

The Anasazi Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is based in Glendale and meets on the third Saturday of every month from September through May.
