Glendale blues, jazz club still ‘not allowed to open’

But Westside Blues & Jazz owners have an optimistic outlook for 2021

Back in October, a new blues and jazz club taking shape in Glendale had set its sights on opening its doors in 2021, possibly as early as February.

Westside Blues & Jazz, 17045 N. 59th Ave., Suite 104, announced on Dec. 29 that there’s still no exact date for opening yet as ongoing coronavirus restrictions and positive cases continue to impact residents and the business community.

“We are sorry to announce that we are still not allowed to open,” the owners Paul Perez and Cindi Jackson stated in a Tuesday news release.
