Born in Evansville, Indiana, Garrett B. Norris was a compassionate and generous man whose presence left a lasting impact on everyone he met. He had a deep love for his family, many friends, playing football in high school and college, lively discussions about the San Francisco 49ers and attending games with his longtime friend and brother, Courtney, coaching semi-pro football, weekly golfing with his buddies, going to the beach, and his beloved cats and fish. But above all, he found purpose in helping other others.
As a dedicated coach and mentor, Garrett inspired countless friends, employees, and players, always leading with encouragement, wisdom, and an unwavering belief in those around him. His kindness and guidance touched the lives of many, leaving behind a legacy of generosity and support.
He found great joy working in golf operations at Sun City West, always greeting others with a warm smile and a kind word. His love for the game and the friendships he made along the way brought him endless happiness.
He is survived by his loving wife, Susan, and their daughter, Noelle, who will forever cherish his love and wisdom. he also leaves behind his sisters, Sylvia; Gail and her husband Eric; brother-in-law, Stephen, and his wife, Phyllis Phillips, along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeffrey.
