Democratic candidate Amelia Gallitano holds an early lead over incumbent Shawnna Bolick in the race for Senate in Arizona’s 2nd Legislative District in early voting results released on Tuesday night.
Incumbent Democrat Stephanie Simicek and incumbent Republican Justin Wilmeth also hold leads over Paul Carver in the race for the district’s two House seats with 38% of the precincts reporting.
Gallitano has 29,520 votes for 58.7% of the vote in the Senate race, while Bolick has 20,785 votes for 41.3% of the vote.
