Horizon Health and Wellness is opening its new location in Florence.
To introduce the new clinic location to the community, Horizon Health and Wellness is hosting an open house event from 1 to 5 p.m., Friday, Nov. 17 at 495 N. Pinal Parkway, Suite 106. A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m.
Horizon Health and Wellness provides health care services to the community, including adult and children's services, primary care, lab services, behavioral health services, peer and family support, individual, family and group therapy, substance use disorder programs, medication-assisted treatment, supported employment, and psychiatric services, a press release stated.
"Too many individuals in rural and underserved populations go without essential health care services due to a lack of accessibility, limited resources or the high cost of care," stated Laura Larson-Huffaker, CEO of Horizon Health and Wellness, in the release. "As a Federally Qualified Health Center, we bring critical services to all who need them, regardless of their ability to pay. We understand the unique challenges faced by our communities, and we are here to bridge the gap."
Larson-Huffaker stated that the open house will not only showcase the new facility, but it also will celebrate the clinic’s growth and ties to the community.
"We are excited to continue expanding our reach and positively impacting the lives of those we serve," Larson-Huffaker stated in the release. "We look forward to continuing to serve the Florence community at our new location, as well as welcoming new patients and demonstrating our unwavering commitment to their well-being."
The event will feature refreshments, and attendees can receive information on the clinic’s various programs and services, request tours of the facility and meet key staff members.
