Mark Freeman leads Mesa Mayor race and Rich Adams leads Mesa Council race as more votes are counted

More results have come in from Maricopa County for the Mesa City Council and Mesa Mayor Elections.

As of 11:00 a.m. on November 6., Mark A. Freeman (52.79%) leads the Mesa Mayor Race over former Mayor Scott Smith (47.21%) by a margin of 76,637 votes to 68,546 with 172,404 ballots cast.

In Mesa Council District 1, Rich Adams (51.92%) leads Ron Williams (48.08%) by a margin of 9,825 votes to 9,098 with 26,668 ballots cast.
