The Fairmont Scottsdale Princess recently joined a select group of organizations worldwide that exemplify the Blue Zones philosophy of fostering environments that support longevity, vitality and mindful living by earning the Blue Zones Award, according to a press release.
Highlights of the Blue Zones recognition include:
• Health-Centered Amenities: The resort’s expansive Well & Being Spa, featuring wellness programs, fitness classes and a rooftop pool, aligns directly with Blue Zones’ emphasis on holistic health.
• Nutritious Culinary Offerings: Ironwood American Kitchen was also named a Blue Zone recipient due to its focus on locally sourced, sustainable ingredients that align with the Blue Zone program.
• Active Lifestyle Programs: Signature guest experiences - from Sonoran Desert hikes and outdoor yoga classes to the family adventure center—accentuate the Blue Zones’ core value of regular physical activity.
• Environmental Stewardship: The resort’s lush, drought-tolerant landscaping, which recently earned recognition from the National Association of Landscape Professionals, mirrors the award’s focus on sustainable, regenerative living spaces.
The Princess operates on nearly 66 acres and features 750 accommodations, six pools, a full-service spa, two championship golf courses and over 316,000 square feet of event space,
