Erna Beckmann

SURPRISE, AZ. - Erna Beckmann, of Bell West Ranch, died Sunday, February 19, 2012. Born on July 21, 1932, in Ludwigshafen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Willy Ding and wife Erna Marie of Ludwigshafen, Germany; and wife of the late William 'Bill' Horst Beckmann after 57 years of marriage. A homemaker, she devoted her life to her family. She enjoyed crocheting afghans. She is survived by two sons, Theodore 'Ted' Beckmann and wife Susan of Marion Station, Md., and William Bernhard Beckmann and wife Debbie of Northridge, Calif; four grandchildren, Leanne, Mark, Cody, Jesse; great-grandson, Jacob; sister, Margot Kohlmeyer of Ludwigshafen, Germany; niece, Christine Fischer and husband Dietmar of Ludwigshafen, Germany; nephews, Steven, Michael, and Jonathan Schmidt; niece, Amanda Schmidt; nephew, Kenneth Beckmann.
