Lucas, 82 SUN CITY WEST - Elizabeth "Betty" Lucas passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1, 2016 after a short battle with cancer. She was born December 25, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois. Betty and her husband, Chuck moved to Arizona in 1987 after Chuck retired from the Chicago Fire Department. Betty initially worked as an assistant store manager, while enjoying a fun-filled social life in Sun City West with many wonderful new friends. She had a passion for crafts and found pleasure in creating the next new project. Betty had a dazzling smile and lived life to the fullest. She will surely be missed. She is survived by her loving family, daughter, Denise (David) Dame, daughter, Maureen (Mike) Folan, son, Timothy Lucas; and her four loving grandchildren, Matthew Dame, Michael (Kristin) Folan, Sarah Dame, and Sean Folan. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 10am at Prince of Peace Church 14818 W. Deer Valley Drive, Sun City West, Arizona 85375.
