Put on your beret and head to Historic Downtown Glendale and Catlin Court for a trés magnifique event.

Paris in the Spring goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 11, and brings all things French to Glendale. Look for open-air shopping, fashion shows, artisan displays and trunk shows. Experiential activities include Kindness Rock painting, cookie decorating and jewelry making. Some activities have a nominal fee.

“Paris in the Spring continues to be an annual tradition of welcoming spring, bringing friends and family together to enjoy a beautiful day, and to experience the community of locally owned shops and restaurants in Historic Downtown Glendale,” Lorraine Zomok, Historic Downtown Glendale Merchants Association president, shared in a news release.

The event will showcase boutiques and specialty shops throughout the Catlin Court and Old Towne Districts.

Guests can create their own Historic Downtown Glendale charm bracelet. The starter bracelet is available for $5 at Glendale Flowers & Gifts (7163 N. 58th Drive,) Memory Lane Trinkets and Treasures (5836 W. Palmaire Ave.,) or Pink House Boutique (7009 N. 58th Ave.). Then follow the charm trail map to purchase additional charms for $2 each at more than 30 participating shops.

Start a Paris in the Spring journey at the Arizona Information Center, at 5836 W. Palmaire Ave. Downtown Docents will be available to provide information and walking maps.

Paris in the Spring is presented by the Historic Downtown Glendale Merchants Association, a merchant driven organization which stimulates, enhances, and sustains the economic vitality and customer experience of the Historic Downtown Glendale Shopping and Dining District.
