In response to the letter, More important things to worry about than dog waste, it sounds like a lazy person that wants to leave dog excrement around town.
Besides being unsightly and smelly, waste can lead to bacterial infections which are serious. It’s unsanitary. How would this same writer feel about excrement being left around their floor in their home?
Taking care of the little things is important to communities as well as large world issues. They go hand in hand to form a better world.
