BOTTOM LINE: The New Jersey Devils host the Vancouver Canucks after Luke Evangelista scored two goals in the Devils' 5-3 loss to the Utah Mammoth.

New Jersey had a 42-37-3 record overall and a 21-17-3 record in home games last season. The Devils scored 2.8 goals per game last season while allowing 3.1 per game.

Vancouver went 25-49-8 overall and 16-22-3 on the road last season. The Canucks scored 210 total goals last season (2.6 per game on 25.8 shots per game).
