Four suspects are in custody in connection with a November robbery that left a 17-year-old dead, police said.
All of those arrested are teens, and authorities said there are no other suspects in the killing/robbery that occurred shortly before 9 p.m. Nov. 28.
Marc Leyva was killed.
On Dec. 14, detectives arrested Dareon Harris, 18, and a male juvenile “after evidence was obtained linking the suspects to the homicide,” police said.
Four days later, detectives arrested 19-year-old Leonard Brown who was also identified as a suspect in the case.
The fourth suspect, Takari Humphreys, 18, was arrested Dec. 20.
“All four suspects were interviewed and admitted to their involvement in a premeditated robbery that resulted in the death of Leyva,” police stated in a release.
The charges range from first-degree murder, attempted robbery and aggravated assault, according to the release.
