Debate: CD5 Dems all say they can beat GOP in race for Biggs' seat

SCOTTSDALE — Three Democratic Congressional hopefuls all said they’re the best candidate to take a swing at turning the tide in one Southeast Valley district.

Brian Hualde, Chris James and Elizabeth Lee made their cases June 3 in Arizona Clean Elections’ Congressional District 5 Democratic primary debate as to why they should be the ones to try to flip a House district that’s gone to Republicans for the past 15 years.

And at times, it hasn’t even been close.
