Three members of Chandler Unified School District’s Counseling Department accepted awards for themselves and some colleagues at the Dec. 11 CUSD Governing Board meeting from Superintendent Frank Narducci. From the left are Narducci, the district’s director of counseling and social services, Natasha Davis, and district counselors Maria Collea-Anderson and Crisini Ryan.
The counseling and social services departments of the Chandler Unified School District, along with the college and career specialists at each of CUSD’s six high schools, recently all claimed an “And Then Some” award.
The honor, bestowed upon various CUSD people occasionally by Superintendent Frank Narducci for those who go above and beyond to help others, is for executing a district-wide college fair Sept. 18.
A staff report, read aloud just before Narducci handed certificates to three staff who accepted the awards for their departments, stated families and students were able to get a wide array of questions answered at the event, ranging from federal FAFSA financial aid to military and trade-school topics.
On hand to accept the “And Then Some” award at the Dec. 11 CUSD Governing Board meeting from Narducci were the district’s director of counseling and social services, Natasha Davis, district counselors Maria Collea-Anderson and Crisini Ryan.
