Two state lawmakers who are seeking reelection covered a lot of ground in a Sept. 6 Chandler Chamber of Commerce state legislative recap forum.
One question asked of state Sen. J.D. Mesnard at the event was whether he feels there isn’t enough pressure being applied publicly to Ruben Gallego, the Democratic Congressman running for the Senate seat being vacated by Kyrsten Sinema, for being divorced from his wife, Kate, during the final months of being pregnant with their only child.
Mesnard said he believes that part of Gallego’s background is definitely being discussed.
