Lamb controls lead on Keenan for CD5 Republican nomination

Former Pinal County Sheriff Mark Lamb is bucking negative media accounts of his personal life and is out to a strong lead in the results released Wednesday evening for the Congressional District 5 House Republican nomination.

Lamb has 46,103 votes for 58.3% to Daniel Keenan's 32,975 votes, which is 41.7%.

The Republican nominee will advance to the Nov. 3 general election to face the winner of the Democratic primary, where Brian Hualde, Chris James and Elizabeth Lee are competing for their party's nomination.
