Single game tickets for White Sox, Dodgers will be available, as will one World Baseball Classic matchup in Glendale

Posted

Spring training tickets for both the Chicago White Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers in Glendale go on sale Wednesday, Jan. 4.

Tickets for the 15th year of spring training at Camelback Ranch-Glendale become available at 10 a.m. online and by phone only.

The first game is Saturday, Feb. 25 when the White Sox host the San Diego Padres for a 1:05 p.m. start. The Dodgers’ first appearance in Glendale will be the very next day when the Cubs visit for a 1:05 p.m. start time.

Visit CamelbackRanchBaseball.com, Dodgers.com or WhiteSox.com to order single game tickets online. Call 623-302-5099 to order single game tickets by phone.

Single game tickets start at $10 per game. All games are subject to dynamic pricing changes. Fans save by purchasing single game tickets in advance; day-of-game ticket sales are subject to a $5 per ticket price increase.

Season tickets, suites, mini-plans and groups (including suites), the Cutwater Spirits Deck and the All-You-Can-Eat Patio are available for purchase.

Camelback Ranch-Glendale offers discounted tickets for active/retired military for Monday-Thursday games. Discounted tickets are available at the box office on the day of the game only.

There will be baseball at Camelback Ranch every day from Saturday, Feb. 25 through Sunday, March 26.

Besides two Dodgers-White Sox contests, the 13 other Cactus League teams each make at least two appearances in Glendale. First pitch for all games is 1:05 p.m. with four exceptions: 6:05 p.m. night baseball on Wednesday, March 8 (Mariners-Dodgers), Wednesday, March 15 (Rockies-Dodgers) and Thursday, March 16 (Rangers-Dodgers).

The fourth exception is Saturday, March 25, getaway day for the Dodgers, who face the Kansas City Royals at 12:05 p.m.

The Dodgers and White Sox meet twice — Sunday, March 5 and Saturday, March 18.

The hometown Arizona Diamondbacks make two appearances in Glendale — Thursday, March 2 vs. the Dodgers and Monday, March 20 vs. the White Sox.

This spring also marks the return of the international tournament, the World Baseball Classic. Played every four years, the most recent installment of the Classic took place in 2017, but the 2021 edition was postponed due to COVID. Qualifying rounds for the 2023 version began this past September.

Team Colombia appears at Camelback Ranch-Glendale on Thursday, March 9 vs. the White Sox to prepare for its tournament competition.

The box office will open for advance sales at a later date.

Meanwhile, the White Sox and Dodgers have jointly filed legal papers to request arbitration in their dispute with the city of Glendale regarding needed construction at Camelback Ranch-Glendale, the spring training home of both teams.

A White Sox spokesperson on Dec. 27 told the Independent that the club cannot comment on matters that are still pending. The Dodgers didn’t immediately return messages for comment on the matter.
