Buckeye police launch online community tips platform

Independent Newsmedia
Buckeye police are making it easier for community members to let them know about crime and safety concerns in their area. The agency has implemented a platform that allows the public to submit crime tips online or through their mobile device with the option of remaining anonymous.
With the P3 Tips platform, Buckeye police have streamlined the process of receiving and tracking crime tips. BPD also has the ability to communicate with the tipster through the platform, providing investigative updates and outcomes. Tipsters have the option to upload pictures and videos related to their crime tip and remain anonymous if they choose.
Residents are encouraged to use the new tip platform to provide information on suspicious or illegal activity related to unsolved cases, wanted persons, vandalism, traffic concerns, theft, drug sales/ distribution or crimes being planned in Buckeye locations including schools. The platform is not intended for reporting emergencies or crimes in progress.
