Boyer drops out of Glendale mayoral race

Council to fill Ocotillo District vacancy

As of April 1, the Glendale primary election field is official, with one less mayoral candidate than expected and the mayoral race causing a City Council seat to open.

Paul Boyer did not submit his final paperwork by the April 1 deadline for the July 30 primary election. In recent months, this deadline and the primary election moved up a week.

Boyer organized his committee and announced his mayoral candidacy Feb. 7, 2023.
