On Tuesday, Dec. 9, all Barro’s Pizza locations across Arizona, including three in Scottsdale, will donate 100% of the day’s proceeds from dine-in, carry-out and delivery to St. Mary’s Food Bank.
Last year’s Doran Barro Holiday Hunger Fight raised more than $419,900, according to a press release.
St. Mary’s Food Bank, a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating hunger in Arizona, relies heavily on community partners. The funds raised through this annual campaign have a significant impact on the nonprofit’s ability to provide meals for those in need during the holiday season and beyond.

St. Mary’s Food Bank, a nonprofit dedicated to alleviating hunger in Arizona, relies heavily on community partners. The funds raised through this annual campaign have a significant impact on the nonprofit’s ability to provide meals for those in need during the holiday season and beyond.
Over the course of the program’s 14-year existence, Barro’s Pizza has raised $3.25 million, the release said.
“We are deeply thankful for Barro’s unwavering support,” Milt Liu, president and CEO of St. Mary’s Food Bank, said in the release. “Their commitment to fighting hunger is truly remarkable. The proceeds from this effort will have a meaningful impact, providing vital assistance to many individuals and families in need.”
