Bank of America is providing a $200,000, two-year grant to two Valley nonprofits as part of its Neighborhood Builders program.

Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley and Child Crisis Arizona were given the grants that provide comprehensive leadership training for the organization’s executive director and an emerging leader at the organization, according to a press release.

This is the 20th year Bank of America has provided the grants.

“With the combination of flexible funding and comprehensive leadership training, we have helped our community’s nonprofits address the critical needs we face in the Valley, positively impacting countless individuals, families and neighborhoods over the past two decades,” said Scott Vanderpool, president of Bank of America Phoenix, in a press release.

The invitation-only program is a competitive award. Bank of America has given out $346 million in grants to about 2,000 nonprofits throughout the U.S.
