Alesia Brown nee (Hanzal)

BROWN Alesia (Hanzal) Age 74, passed peacefully at her home in Sun City, AZ, from COPD and cancer complications on May 15, 2026. She is preceded in death by her husband, Craig Brown. She is survived by her three brothers and two sisters, including Mary Jo Elder, of Sun City and Gunnison, Colorado. Alesia's passion was golf. She participated in the three weekly golf leagues, arranged tee times for the groups, and was a force in ensuring women golfers received the same privileges as their male counterparts. She cherished the friendships she made through her golf games. She enjoyed walking her dog and her friends and neighbors in Sun City. Alesia has donated her body to science. A memorial service will be held next winter. Her unique spirit will be missed by family and friends.
