Vernon Aviation propels private aircraft charter from Scottsdale

Posted

Vernon Aviation has opened its newest base of operations at Scottsdale airport with an eight passenger, Pilatus PC-12 turboprop aircraft.

Vernon Aviation is offering an “extremely cost-effective transportation solution to the Scottsdale market,” according to a press release, noting the new location, which is the second base for Vernon Aviation.

The first location is in Farmington, New Mexico, where the family business started for Vernon Aviation, which holds an FAA approved, 135 air charter certificate, the release said.

“We are extremely excited to expand our business and have a new home in Scottsdale,” said Vernon Aviation Business Manager James Pera in a prepared statement.

“Scottsdale is a true destination and plays host to some of the largest and most prestigious events in the country. The demand is high for both business and leisure travelers that are seeking privacy, convenience, and a schedule that they control. The airplanes that we operate are luxurious, comfortable, and most important, cost effective. We fill a niche for flights that are typically 1-3 hours of flight time in the immediate surrounding western states.”

Vernon Aviation aircraft primarily serves the immediate western states but regularly fly nationwide.

“When people think about private aircraft charters, the first vision that typically comes to mind is the large business jet. They immediately assume that they can’t afford it. Once educated, our clients are pleasantly surprised to find out that there are various price points, aircraft, and options for all budgets. The business owners really grin when they find out it’s a tax write off,” said Mr. Pera.

For travel needs where the PC-12 isn’t the best option due to passenger and range requirements, Vernon Aviation also offers brokerage solutions thorough it’s world wide network of qualified aircraft operators.

“We’re a one stop shop for all things pertaining to private aircraft charters, including hotel, transportation, and concierge solutions,” Mr. Pera said.

Vernon Aviation aircraft are being operated out of Ross Aviation, a premier FBO, which “truly sets the stage for our clients,” Mr. Pera said, describing staff that will ensure that clients have a great experience by eliminating potential long lines and allows clients “to arrive in as little as 20 minutes before departure.”
