Annual report for year that ended June 30 shows

The Scottsdale City Council will hear good news when city Treasurer Sonia Andrews gives her review of last fiscal year’s audited results during the council’s Dec. 5 meeting.

"The city’s finances are in good shape,” Andrews said. “We have managed the city’s finances very conservatively so we wrapped up our last fiscal year in a strong financial position, retaining our AAA bond rating and maintaining our strong reserves.”

Total assets are up 4% ($274.3 million) at June 30, 2023, which ended on June 30, over the previous year. At the same time total liabilities are only up 2% ($28.1 million) at June 6, 20223 over the previous year.
