Pueblo Elementary School, 6320 N. 82nd St., is hosting an open house 9 – 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 24.
The school welcomes prospective parents and the community to meet its teachers and staff, tour its state-of-the-art classrooms on its newly rebuilt campus and learn about the school’s award-winning Dual Language Immersion Spanish program for preschool through fifth-grade students.
Pueblo students engage in immersive learning experiences that enhance both their English and Spanish language skills and cultural understanding. Pueblo Elementary is an Arizona Educational Foundation A+ School of Excellence. The DLI Spanish program continues as a learning option at nearby Mohave Middle School.
There will be live music, enrichment activities and entertainment. Representatives from the Pueblo Parent Teacher Organization will also be on hand to provide information about parent involvement opportunities and the school’s inclusive culture.
