With the next school year approaching, the student achievements of the previous year continue to be celebrated.

Despite the summer holidays, more news of Valley students achieving impressive academic feats continues to spread from the last academic year.

Tennyson Jones of Scottsdale earned dean’s list honors at The University of Tampa in Florida for the spring 2022 semester.

According to the press release, Jones was a freshman majoring in marine science biology, and students at UT must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean’s list.

At Drake University in Iowa, Zack Gray, a student and Scottsdale resident, was also named to the dean’s list.

Another Scottsdale resident, Allison Kwan, earned the distinction of faculty honors for spring 2022 at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

This designation is awarded to undergraduate students who have earned a 4.0 academic average for the semester according to a press release.

Additionally, in July, Edmond Richard, also from Scottsdale, completed their doctor of philosophy in information technology at the University of the Cumberlands located in Williamsburg, Ky.
