Scottsdale Unified School District is conducting a second climate survey as SUSD continues collecting feedback on how the district can improve.

SUSD is teaming with Hanover Research to conduct and analyze the responses from district staff, parents, students and community members. Superintendent Dr. John Kriekard said in a letter to district staff the administration will use the feedback to “ensure” they are meeting the needs of the community.

The survey will take about 10 minutes to complete and responses will remain strictly confidential with all data secured in Hanover’s private surveys.

The survey began Oct. 22 and will run until Nov. 12. Hanover will then collect and analyze responses, yielding a report before the end of the year. Hanover will also generate a comparison with last year’s results.

“The survey is one of several opportunities staff, parents, students and the community have to provide direct feedback to SUSD’s leadership,” Dr. Kriekard said in a letter to SUSD staff.

Along with the survey, SUSD is undertaking several other community feedback opportunities such as Coffee with Kriekard, superintendent’s monthly letter, monthly community connection enewsletter and public comment at Governing Board meetings.
