Scottsdale restaurant raises money for The Singletons

For all of breast cancer awareness month this October, Z’Tejas Southwest Grill will be selling pink awareness ribbons for $10 per ribbon.

With the purchase of a ribbon, guests will receive a complimentary watermelon strawberry margarita or if they prefer nonalcoholic beverages, a strawberry lemonade “cocktail.”

A press release explained that a portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Singletons a local nonprofit dedicated to helping single-parent families battling cancer.

There are two Valley Z’Tejas locations in Scottsdale at 8300 N. Hayden Road, Suite D-101, and in Chandler at 7221 W. Ray Road.

Z’Tejas prides itself on using the best ingredients to create Mexican and Southwestern-inspired dishes, the release stated. The restaurant is open daily for lunch, happy hour and dinner, and brunch on the weekends.
