Scottsdale Quarter sparks the spirit of giving
Win $1,000 for charity with acts of kindness

As a town center and goodwill ambassador of the community, Scottsdale Quarter is sparking the spirit of giving in a meaningful way this holiday season.
From Friday, Nov. 29 to Friday, Dec. 27, guests are encouraged to gift kindness to others for a chance to win a $1,000 donation to the charity of their choice. Whether it’s holding the door open, handwriting a note to a loved one or paying off a stranger’s layaway, kindness is the gift to give this holiday season.
Guests can select a random act of kindness in the form of a gift tag at the gift kindness activation, located at the corner of 73rd Place and south Street Extension, next to Amazon Books. For a chance to win the ultimate prize in support of charity, guests are encouraged to share their act of kindness on their public Instagram feed.
To qualify for the contest they must also follow and tag @ScottsdaleQuarter, tag the charity they love and use the hashtag #GiftKindnessContest.
“This holiday season, we are motivating guests to give the gift of kindness to friends, family, partners, team members, acquaintances or strangers. Spreading kindness is priceless and we hope this campaign will ignite the essence of giving in our community, one act of benevolence at a time,” said Richard Hunt, general manager at Scottsdale Quarter, in a prepared statement.
The #GiftKindnessContest winner will be chosen and notified in January 2020. Gift kindness illustrates Scottsdale Quarter’s commitment to celebrating the community with events and activations throughout the year.
