Scottsdale police arrest Nicholas Alan Claus, 62

Scottsdale Police Department detectives and School Resource Officers arrested 62-year-old Nicholas Alan Claus for sexual abuse, child abuse, and public sexual indecency.
On Nov. 18, Chaparral High School administration notified SRO’s of an incident involving Claus and a special needs student, according to a police press release.
Scottsdale detectives responded and took over the investigation which resulted in the arrest of Claus, the release said.
However, due to the sensitivity of the victim being a juvenile, no further information about the incident will be released.
