Marking its third year in a row, Forever Loved Pet Sanctuary in Scottsdale is hosting its Summer Online Auction in June to support its mission of paying for senior dogs’ medical treatments and ongoing care.
Last year, the community raised $11,000 for senior dogs. This year, Forever Home founder and executive director Luisa Chocron said the goal is to reach $12,000.
“Right now, there are so many dogs that Maricopa County (Animal Care and Control) can’t keep up with and the Arizona Humane Society does what they can, but they can’t take them all in, either,” Chocron said.
