Scottsdale native says Hollywood disruption spells opportunity for young filmmakers

Josh Rosenbaum calls for bold innovation in film

Despite living and working in L.A. for the better part of two decades, Scottsdale native Josh Rosenbaum can’t quite shake his Arizona roots.

Living and working in Los Angeles, the ‘08 Sunnyslope High graduate has made a name for himself in Hollywood, recently making partner at Waypoint Entertainment, the L.A.-based production, development and financing company founded by American film producer Ken Kao,  where he’s produced and co-produced films including the 2017 American Western drama starring Christian Bale, “Hostiles,” Jonah Hill’s 2018 directorial debut, “Mid90s” and the 2024 horror film “Cuckoo” starring Hunter Schafer.
