Scottsdale mall has fashion, food, florals on Fashion A’fare runway, March 6-8

Scottsdale Fashion Square, 7014 E. Camelback Road, will host “Fashion A’Fare,” a celebration of fashion, food and floral creations, from Friday, March 6 to Sunday March 8.
A variety of free and ticketed events will take place as part of Scottsdale Fashion Square’s Fashion A’Fare Weekend, during regular mall hours, according to a press release.
Weekend-long events will also showcase the unveiling of the Floral Mannequin Collective, featuring mannequins as a canvas for original works of art created with live flowers and designed by luxury brands, florists and local influencers, in the Luxury wing.
On Friday, March 6, Scottsdale Fashion Square will host Runway For Research, an invitation-only brunch at Neiman Marcus to benefit TGen, music and floral art displays in Luxury wing, exclusive fashion designer runway shows open to the public, in-store experiences and surprises throughout the day for shoppers, the release said.
Activities continue on Saturday, March 7 with retailer and restaurant chef demonstrations and culinary competition with Arizona Culinary Institute. Plus, there will be an awards ceremony to honor winners of the Floral Mannequin Collective designs and culinary awards.
Shoppers will be greeted with music and floral art displays in the Luxury wing while Arizona State University’s School of Art design students put on a fashion show to remember, the release added.
On Sunday, March 8, there will be a special International Women’s Day celebration, in addition to a Farmers Market pop-up in the Grand North Valet Circle, mini fitness exhibitions, specialty food and drink and flower crown-making station and more in that area.
Attendees will also enjoy such things as a live, in-mall musical cabaret performing and the backdrops for all those wanting a one-of-a-kind photo opportunities, the release said.
