Scottsdale councilwoman calls for swift ‘general plan task force’

More citizen input needed, Kathy Littlefield says

More citizen input is needed for Scottsdale’s General Plan 2035 update, which now has a draft version available for review, Scottsdale City Councilwoman Kathy Littlefield says.

Ms. Littlefield is expected to ask City Manager Jim Thompson on Tuesday, Jan. 12, to draft a resolution creating a citizen task force charged with reviewing the update. Ms. Littlefield is asking for the resolution to be up for a vote at the council’s Jan. 19 meeting.

“I think we need more input from the people, from the citizenry, not those related to the city government; Commissions and boards are a part of our government structure,” Ms. Littlefield said.
