Scottsdale construction advisory firm makes Inc. 5000 list for a second time

ADVOCATE supports Arizona homeowners

Posted

For the second consecutive year, Scottsdale-based residential construction advisory firm ADVOCATE - Residential Construction Advisors has earned a spot on the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the United States.

Founded by Arizona Attorney Keith Galbut, ADVOCATE recorded a 523% revenue growth over the last three years and ranked #972, placing it in the top 20% of companies listed.

On the 2024 list, ADVOCATE ranked 35th in overall revenue in Arizona construction, 51st in U.S. construction and 39th of all Arizona companies in the 2024 Inc. 5000 list.

Last year, ADVOCATE made its Inc. 5000 debut, ranking in the top 5% of companies listed.

Galbut attributes the company’s recent success to its commitment in supporting Arizona homeowners.

“ADVOCATE had a very strong showing this year, and I’m very proud of what we’ve accomplished,” Galbut said.

What is ADVOCATE?

ADVOCATE is a residential construction advisory firm representing Arizona homeowners through the homebuilding process - from managing contractor bids to helping establish budget constraints and builder negotiations, Galbut says the company was established to ensure the homeowners interests and goals always come first.

“As a lawyer, very commonly people were coming into our office with really significant challenges around residential real estate construction, typically in the luxury home space,” Galbut said. “In many cases, these were caused by a real disconnect in hiring the right architect, interior designer or builder.”

ADVOCATE has grown exponentially since the COVID-19 pandemic which caused rapid changes in the Arizona housing market.

Starting with two to three projects at a time, the demand for advisory services has allowed ADVOCATE to grow to 45 concurrent projects totaling $300 million in value with its most significant projects being in Paradise Valley.

With its recent growth, Galbut is seeking to expand its services to similar housing markets across the country.

ADVOCATE also earned the second spot on the 2024 Sun Devil 100 list in the $2 million to $10 million revenue category of companies founded by ASU alumni and #24 on Inc. magazine’s 2024 Southwest Regional list on the way to the final 5000 list.

Law firm also makes Inc. 5000

Galbut also announced that the business law firm his father Martin Galbut established in 1987 Galbut Beabeau PC, made the Inc. 5000 list for the first time this year, ranking number 4,995 out of 5,000.

“We barely made the cut,” Galbut said, who serves as president of Galbut Beabeau PC.

Directors Olivier Beabeau and Martin Galbut are both long-term residents of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley.

Galbut earned his master’s degree in international management in 2001 and his juris doctor in 2003 from ASU.

A lifelong learner, Galbut is currently pursuing his master’s in engineering and construction management at ASU.

“Our entire organization is singularly focused on how to optimize the building experience to protect the owner and to create the most value through the process,” Galbut said.
