The nearly 25-year tradition of National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) invites novel writers around the world to attempt to write a 50,000-word manuscript during the month of November (emphasis on “attempt”).
While “Wrimos” do their best to keep their writer’s block at bay, Scottsdale’s Civic Center Library is hosting a no-stress, no word-count NaNoWriMo workshop for those who are looking to learn the fundamentals of writing a compelling novel.
“Scene and Summary: How to Balance the Building Blocks of Storytelling,” is the title of Kimberly Sabin’s workshop at the Civic Center Library Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 5 p.m., where burgeoning novelists can get advice on telling their stories mindfully and with impact.
