Scottsdale Bar Association blends legal education, baseball

The Scottsdale Bar Association invites members, the legal community and guests to an event that combines the passion for law with the love of baseball.
A Continuing Legal Education seminar followed by a spring training baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers is Monday, Feb. 26, at the Scottsdale Stadium, 7408 E. Osborn Road.
Gates open at 11 a.m. and the seminar is 11:30 a.m., with the topic of "Emerging Issues with Sports Law." The seminar will be led by Gregg E. Clifton, an attorney in sports law from Lewis Brisbois, who will delve into the most current and pressing legal issues facing the sports industry today.
Tickets are $125 for Scottsdale bar members and $140 for nonmembers.
