Each house provides a home-away-from-home for children and their families traveling to the Valley to receive treatment for serious, often life-threatening illnesses and injuries, a release states.
Since opening the first house 35 years ago, RMHC-CNAZ has supported more than 53,000 visits. Nearly 90% of families are from Arizona.
