PVSchools Governing Board approves superintendent’s resignation

The Paradise Valley Unified School District governing board voted during a special meeting to approve a resignation agreement for the superintendent, Dr. Jesse Welsh, effective Dec. 31.

The PVSchools board and Dr. Welsh, according to a press release, decided it was in the best interest of the district for the separation after careful consideration during the past few weeks.

With growing concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic presenting unique challenges for the last several months, one of those has been adapting to ever-changing circumstances, the release said.
