Well over the 790 participants who registered for the “No Kings” rally in downtown Scottsdale showed up to protest President Donald Trump, his policies and administration Saturday morning.

Sheri Dersham wants to save science research from President Donald Trump’s policies.

“We’re bankrupting universities,” she said. “Science saves lives and we need to save the research. Cutting all the funding to research is ridiculous. We’re going to be poorer and sicker Americans by cutting all the research.”

That’s why she joined a throng of people opposing the Trump administration's polices at the “No Kings” protest at the intersection of Camelback and Scottsdale roads Saturday morning.
