Police ask for help finding missing Scottsdale man
Posted
The Scottsdale Police Department is asking for assistance from the public in locating a missing autistic male, 20-year-old Najib Monsif.
He was last seen the night of Sept. 22, at his home in a neighborhood northeast of Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard and Via Linda in Scottsdale, officials say.
Najib is described as a middle eastern male, about 5-foot, 10-inches with a thin build and possibly wearing all black clothing. Najib can speak and is reported to have the mental capacity of an 8-year-old child.
He does not have his cell phone with him and does not drive. It is believed he left his home on foot.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Najib Monsif is asked to contact the Scottsdale Police Department at 480-312-5000.
