The stars were out to play in Scottsdale on Jan. 29 during the Waste Management Phoenix Open Annexus Pro-Am.
Celebrities including Larry Fitzgerald, Archie Bradley, Shane Doan, Emmitt Smith, Dierks Bentley, Lorena Ochoa, Golden Tate, Reggie Bush, J.R. Smith, Shane Victorino and Josh Allen were among those who competed.
The Waste Management Phoenix Open took place Jan. 27-Feb. 2 at TPC Scottsdale, 17020 N. Hayden Road.
The Waste Management Phoenix Open and the tournament host Thunderbirds raise money for Arizona charities, most of which provide programs that benefit youth. Recent beneficiaries include Phoenix Children’s Hospital, First Tee of Phoenix, Special Olympics Arizona, Homeward Bound, St. Mary’s Food Bank, Save the Family, Ability 360 and Child Crisis Arizona.
The 2019 Waste Management Phoenix Open raised more than $13.2 million dollars for charity, setting a tournament record for the eighth straight year, and The Thunderbirds have raised more than $147 million in the tournament’s 83-year history.
